Paradise Creek Condominiums takes its name from the millionaire American Thoroughbred racehorse and successful sire. Paradise Creek was best known for his wins in the grade one Washington, D.C. International Stakes and the grade one Arlington Million. His most glorious race was in his five year old season at the 1994 Breeder’s Cup Turf, where he entered the race as with odds of almost 17-1. He won by almost 1 ½ lengths. He was the first ever to win both turf events.
Paradise Creek finished racing with a record of 14-7-1 in 25 starts with career earnings of $3,401,415. He was sold to a Japanese breeding syndicate in 1995 where he stood to stud until 2010. His most famous offspring was TM Precure. Paradise Creek died in 2011 at the age of 22 in Japan.
